Michael Wilkinson (PhD)
Michael Wilkinson is the Professor of Sociology at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC. He has also served as the Academic Dean of the Canadian Pentecostal Seminary and the President of the Society for Pentecostal Studies,
Dr. Wilkinson has written about the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, the Charismatic Movement, evangelicals in Canada, and global Pentecostalism. He has edited, written, and co-authored numerous articles and books including Brill’s Encyclopedia of Global Pentecostalism, Brill, 2021; After the Revival: Pentecostalism and the Making of a Canadian Church, McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2020; and A Culture of Faith: Evangelical Congregations in Canada, McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2015.
